Action Against Stalking (AAS) was established as a charity in 2014 and has received funding from the Scottish Government, in recognition of it being the only stalking-specific charity
We are looking to recruit people to enable AAS to deliver its unique specialised through-care service and further develop its substantive infrastructure. Be part of the small dynamic team establishing ground-breaking developments for AAS to be an even stronger voice for victims of stalking victims; work in greater partnerships in embedding the specialised through-care service; and build specialised capacity across the victim-support communities. AAS offers a unique throughcare service to victims of stalking.
Ø Development Officer- an experienced individual who will use their energy, initiative and creativity to further establish the infrastructure, increase our momentum and impact on stalking-victim support services and help build financial sustainability of the Charity. Salary £23,000 per annum pro-rata, 3 days a week.
Ø Throughcare Support Officer - qualified, experienced Counsellor or Psychotherapist with 150-200 hours post qualification client work with experience of project/service development. Experience of working with victims of crime will be an advantage, and ideally working with trauma- based therapy. Salary £30,000 per annum pro-rata, 2 days per week.
We are now establishing 5 day continuous cover for service users and successful applicants will be asked to agree appropriate working days to enable this.
These are part-time and fixed-term posts, funded till the end of March 2021. The posts may develop and be extended, subject to securing continued funding and satisfactory delivery of the key result areas.
